Dr. Ken Broda-Bahm has provided research and strategic advice on several hundred cases across the country for the past 15 years. With a doctorate in communication emphasizing the areas of legal persuasion and rhetoric, he has provided research and advice on a wide variety of cases. As a former Associate Professor of Communication Studies, Dr. Broda-Bahm has taught a variety of courses including legal communication, persuasion, and social science methods. He has provided training and consulting services in nineteen countries around the world and is a Past President of the American Society of Trial Consultants. Ken is a husband and father, an avid cyclist, and lover of new ideas, exotic places, innovative gadgets, and good arguments.

Dr. Kevin Boully has been active in litigation consulting since 2001. His doctorate in legal communication focuses on persuasion, small group influence, and jury decision-making. Dr. Boully has conducted and analyzed research and advised on a full range of plaintiff and defense cases. Dr. Boully has been Associate Editor and advisor to the American Society of Trial Consultants’s jury research and courtroom communication publication, The Jury Expert. Dr. Boully is also currently co-authoring (with Dr. Lisko) a book for the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property, entitled Patently Persuasive. Outside of work, Kevin likes to fly-fish, climb mountains, and watch his three dogs hog the furniture.

Dr. Karen Lisko has more than 24 years of experience in hundreds of civil cases across the country. She utilizes her training to strategize with clients on persuasive themes and arguments in arbitrations, bench and jury trials. She holds a doctorate in legal communication, a specialized degree held by only a few consultants in the nation, and is Past President of the American Society of Trial Consultants. She recently published a book entitled Proven Jury Arguments & Evidence and is currently writing a book for the American Bar Association, entitled Patently Persuasive. Dr. Lisko is a nationally recognized speaker on topics related to jury persuasion and effective communication in and out of the courtroom. When not consulting, writing and speaking, Karen enjoys exercising in order to keep up with her active family. l'>

Dr. Shelley Spiecker has been advising attorneys on case strategy, courtroom persuasion and jury selection for over 18 years. With a doctorate in legal communication, Dr. Spiecker has extensive experience in the design and analysis of mock trial and focus group research. Her studies of the tactical use of innuendo in the courtroom, and her analyses of effective opening statements and closing arguments have been recognized as valuable contributions to the trial consulting field. Dr. Spiecker is a national leader in strategic trial solutions in energy litigation and is frequently asked to lecture on emerging research findings. She also enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her two young children. to jury persuasion and effective communication in and out of the courtroom.
